Podiatry treatments at Ropergate Physio Clinic typically involve a comprehensive assessment of your feet and lower limbs to diagnose and treat various conditions including arthritis and diabetes. Podiatrists are able to assist with various foot problems and provide custom orthotics to help you achieve pain free mobility. Our podiatrists are able to help you in various way:

The podiatrist will assess your medical history, any current symptoms, and perform a physical examination. This will involve checking for issues like poor circulation, structural abnormalities, or gait problems.

Treatments can include routine foot care, such as cutting and filing nails, removing calluses or corns, and managing ingrown toenails or fungal infections.

For issues like pain or improper movement, our podiatrists can analyse your walking or running patterns, as well as foot structure, to identify any abnormalities that may contribute to pain or discomfort.

If necessary, our podiatrists can recommend custom-made insoles (orthotics) or offer advice on appropriate footwear to correct any alignment or support issues.

Conditions like plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinitis, bunions, flat feet, heel spurs, and more can be treated with techniques such as massage, stretching, and strengthening exercises, or with physical therapy modalities.

Our podiatrists can offer ongoing treatment or self-care advice, including specific exercises or lifestyle modifications to prevent future problems. They will also provide integrated healthcare with other professionals including our physiotherapists to ensure you receive the best treatment for your problem.

Treatment plans are tailored to the individual’s needs, aiming for effective relief and long-term management of foot and lower limb issues.
