Over my career I have worked with several professional and semi-professional sports teams including Gloucestershire County Cricket Club, Bristol City FC, Castleford Tigers RLFC, Barton Hill RFC, Radstock Town FC. I have also worked in various inpatient and outpatient settings including sub-acute stroke rehabilitation, respiratory, care of the elderly, acute mental health, MSK outpatients for the NHS. I have also worked in various private physiotherapy clinics before deciding to take the leap and set up my own practice in April 2023.
My main interest is getting people back to their sport especially if that involves lifting heavy weights, as a keen olympic weightlifter myself. I enjoy figuring out the complex picture of how a person’s technique and/or loading pattern has led them to their current pain picture. I find it fascinating breaking movements down to make neuromuscular corrections to poor movement patterns and building them back up to a better stronger version of that person. Further to this I highly enjoy looking at the wider impact of a person’s lifestyle to create a more holistic picture of their health and assist them in making the best of their life.
